Our Pojects

Since Electrical Design & Service was founded, we have been involved with numerous projects; all completed on time and within budget. Here are three examples of complex and detailed contracts Electrical Design & Service has completed over the past thirty years.

Columbus Hilton Hotel

A seven story, five star hotel with 315 rooms including 100,000 ft² of convention space, two restaurants, a bar, parking facility and outdoor space. Our team designed and install all the wiring including all light fixtures, outdoor lighting, power outlets, dimmer system, HVAC equipment, power distribution system and fire alarm.

Fifth - Third Center

Our team installed all electrical equipment from the underground power distribution to the penthouse elevator equipment of this 23 story office building, and provided and installed all electrical switchgear, panels, transformers, disconnects, fire alarm equipment, and all light fixtures. Electrical Design & Service also installed all electrical conduit, wire, electrical equipment and lights for the eight story attached parking garage.

Pepsi-Cola Bottling of Columbus

Our team provided all conduit, wiring, motor control cabinets, programmable controllers and associated electrical components for a complete overhead conveyor renovation. This included replacing the existing 2500 amp 3-phase 480-volt service with a new 4000 amp 480-volt 3-phase switchgear. Our team also installed a new 2000 amp 3-phase motor control starter cabinet, and provided and installed all conduit, wiring, transformers, starters, disconnects and light fixtures for their new distribution warehouse. Since 1981, Electrical Design & Service has serviced and maintained their electrical motor controls, VFD’s, and motor wiring for their high-speed conveyor system.

Riverside Methodist Hospital

Our team has worked on several projects at this hospital including the renovation of three floors of the Women's Health Center, the treatment facility for women’s pre-natal care and women’s fetal medicine, the emergency room, and the fixture energy conservation retrofit for the entire hospital.
